I’ve always been fascinated with the skies. Psalm 19 writes: “The heavens declare the glory of God. The skies proclaim the work of his hands.” I love thinking about God as the artist. The skies are his proof of his artistic mastery. I’ve always been fascinated by the color, by the clouds, by the stars, by the moon, and by the sun. He painted those skies and he painted the earth to His liking. So every day we get to see His glorious work.
God has chosen His people to be creative. God has chosen His people to dream.
I cant help but to feel called to create. When I sit and look at the stars at night I cant help but to feel something pulling me to dream… and dream big. When we seek God and see His glory and how great He is, why should we think that anything can come between God’s Kingdom. If your dreams align with God’s will for your life, do not be afraid to go after those big scary dreams of yours.
I painted those wings to represent God’s ability to allow us to sore to great heights and do amazing things in this life. To be able to float above the clouds and be creative and create color in a world that seems so bleak sometimes.
