Christmas Eve in Louisville

I finally got home Christmas day. About 3 am I pulled into the drive way of my parents house after annoying a friend on the phone for about 3 hours so I didn’t fall asleep. I was completely exhausted and ready to be home for a long time.

I spent the week leading up to Christmas in Grayson and Louisville, Kentucky. I had one of the biggest events of my life coming up; Christmas Eve services at Northeast Christian Church. This was the biggest church I have ever painted in and the nerves have never been higher for me. Good thing I consider myself a particularly good actor because I don’t think anyone could tell that I was about ready to jump out of my skin. There were six services over the course of 3 days with 4 of them coming on the 24th, Christmas Eve. It was a magical time. It went really well and I hope that I was able to be effective in some small way by painting Mary and baby Jesus. You can see the video Here:
